Deep lines on the face are treated by fillers. Fillers do as they say, fill the crevices created by sagging skin. Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse are 3 of my favorite fillers. I use them in the nasolabial folds, corners of the mouth to “turn the frown upside down”, restoring the “happy look”. They also can be used to recreate cheekbones, plump up the earlobes and even out the jowls on the lower face. They all induce the body to make new collagen around the site into which they are injected, thus creating a long lasting softening of the deep lines.
